STEVE BOYDEN

Steve's career originally began in the retail industry and over a period of 18 years successfully established himself in what is generally regarded as one of the UK’s toughest industries. In early 1989, Steve moved into the security sector and in 1992 formed Midas Retail Security Ltd, later the Midas Security Group.

Midas was an immediate success and within just five years, established itself as one of the UK’s leading providers of retail security.

Steve joined Equinox in 2007 and is now the major shareholder. Although he remains committed to the development of retail security, Steve has now diversified his interests to cover the wider aspects of corporate and event security, coupled with expansion into soft services including cleaning and maintenance facilities.

Steve lives in Leatherhead, Surrey with his wife Shirley and has one son James who is 27 years of age.
