Equinox Security Management has strengthened its business development team with the appointment of Bob Widdrington as business development manager and Carole Doig as sales support manager.  The expansion of the team will support Equinox's plans for continued organic growth throughout 2009.

Bob has worked in the security industry for more than 10 years in the corporate, manufacturing  retail, shopping centre and logistics sectors and brings extensive experience of manned guarding, audit and risk assessments and remote monitoring.   He will be responsible for growing existing accounts and new business generation.

Carole has worked in sales and business development roles for more than 28 years spending 18 years at one of the world's largest FMCGs before moving into the security industry 10 years ago. A specialist in telemarketing, prospect development and CRM database management, Carol's primary responsibilities will include new prospect and client service development.

Both Bob and Carole will report to Equinox's group commercial director, Caroline Demoulpied.

"The expansion of our new business development team will enable us to capitalise upon the growth we have experienced in 2008." said Caroline Demoulpied. "By strengthening our team with the recruitment of highly experienced individuals who have worked together very successfully in the past, we will be able to accelerate the rate of growth in the business."
