A NEW ERA FOR EQUINOX

Equinox Security has completed the first stage of its business expansion plan with the appointment of Steve Boyden and Caroline Demoulpied as Group Managing Director and Group Business Development Director respectively. Both Steve and Caroline bring extensive security industry experience and will be shareholders in the company.

The new appointments build on the strengths of Equinox's existing management team as the company embarks on an aggressive expansion plan to become a £50-million business.

Steve Boyden's impressive career began in the retail industry, in which he worked for more than 18 years. He moved into the security industry in 1989 and in 1992 formed Midas Retail Security Limited. In just five years Midas became one of the leading providers of retail security.

Caroline Demoulpied's career spans some 19 years within a business to business service environment, specialising in the last 12 years within the security and soft services sectors. She joined the security industry in 1994. Formerly National Account Director for Pinkerton Security Services where she was responsible for multi-million pound blue chip contracts, Caroline joined Empire Security as a senior board director in 1999 and was instrumental in its expansion in both the corporate and retail markets.
